This is of course a question that can invoke numerous and contentious responses. I would like to explore this topic from this direction, What does Logic 'Say' to us?
'I think, therefore I am' We have heard it many times, but is that it ? Is that enough?
Dare I suggest that, it should read 'I think therefore I am sovereign' ?
In my humble opinion regardless of your religious or spiritual position everyone can agree that the ability to think holds the key. How else could a determination be arrived at?
What you believe the universe to be or how it came to be may be out of our reach. We can explore it, we can examine it. We may even understand much of it's structures and form. Can or will we ever be able to truly say, 'I understand all that is'? Logic it seems dictates we will not, at least as individuals anyway.
Whatever the true source of sovereignty may be, for me it is clearly and firmly lodged in the 'I' the 'I Think' and the 'I think I am' . How could it be anything other than?
Sovereignty has many aspects of course, but I will not drift into them as yet. I think the first step to the full realization of sovereignty is that You determine if you are a unique and sovereign entity capable of the 'Thought form' which simply arrives in your mind.
The 'I am'.
The'I am' says a lot. It says you recognize yourself as an individual and that you exist presently.
The ability to recognize your existence, combined with the ability to recognize the existence of others 'Just like you' Can logically lead to only one conclusion. If I am sovereign, then so are all others 'Just like me'.
Once you arrive at that point in your thinking, the whole of Mankind will have been recognized by you as sovereign. Every race creed and gender. It becomes an inescapable fact.
So now what?
Well, what do you accept? What are your expectations? What way should you interact with others?
What type of interaction do you think will lead to a harmonious and beneficial existence for you and others?
Mankind, has struggled with these issues from time immemorial. We have tried many ways to do so.
we have tried all sorts of Political systems, from Monarchy's to Tyrannies. Communism to Socialism and a whole lot more.
There is however one thing we have not! To date we have not lived side by side and chosen a form of interaction based on full mutual respect.
Does this form of interaction exist? Can it be described? Can it be explained? Can it actually work?
I say, it does. I say, I can describe it. I say, I can explain it. I say, it can work.
Tonight at 9pm on www.peoplesinternetradio.com I will attempt to do just that.
Won't you join me?
